What Performance Marketing is for

Performance Marketing is the workspace for auditing your Meta ads account, then planning and monitoring paid work from that recap. It sits in the main navigation between Routines and Artifacts. Onboarding’s Audit my ad account card opens this area instead of Chat.

Start the audit

  1. 1Open Performance Marketing from the sidebar.
  2. 2On the welcome screen, choose Start the audit.
  3. 3Complete the audit in order: Meta profile (ad account, Page, and where conversions land), Tracking (pixel and purchase signal), Economics (margin, AOV, and how you sell), then Diagnosis of what is already live.

Work from a project

After the audit, Performance Marketing lists Projects. Status labels are Audit, Ads, or Completed. Choose New project when you want a fresh planning workspace that still uses the stored audit. On a project, Start from here offers focused ads tasks:

  • Rebuild my campaigns from the audit
  • Re-audit my ad account
  • Scale what's working
  • Fix what's leaking
  • Test new creative
  • Launch a new campaign
  • How my ads did
  • Fix my tracking

Approve before Meta changes

Treat “Do not change Meta until I approve” as the operating rule. Kluck can propose structure, budgets, tests, and launches, then pause for review. New Meta campaigns are created paused and still need an explicit go-live approval.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need Meta connected before I can start?

The audit is strongest with Meta Ads connected. You can open Performance Marketing during onboarding; Kluck will ask for the ad account when it needs live data.

Is this the same as Chat?

No. Chat is the general Brand Manager. Performance Marketing is the dedicated ads audit and project workspace. Starter cards there send focused ads requests, still with approval before writes.
