Connect Claude to Kluck

Before you connect

• A Kluck account, and the owner or admin role on the workspace you want Claude to access. Members cannot complete this connection or disconnect it later.
• A Claude plan that supports custom connectors. Free Claude plans cannot add one.
• Shopify and Meta are not required to connect Claude, but store and ad questions stay limited until those integrations are connected in Kluck.

Connect Claude

1. 1In Kluck, open Settings → Claude / ChatGPT and copy the Kluck connector URL.
2. 2In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors.
3. 3Choose Add custom connector, name it Kluck, and paste the URL.
4. 4Sign in to Kluck if asked, pick the workspace you want Claude to access, choose read-only or allow images and account changes, then select Allow.
5. 5Start a new chat in Claude. Chats open before you connected will not see Kluck.

What Claude can read and change

• Read-only: store performance, catalog products, Meta ad performance and creative fatigue, tracked competitors, your own Instagram and Facebook post performance, public Brand DNA, saved artifact links, and credit or plan status.
• Allow images and account changes adds: creating a product creative, pausing or resuming a Meta ad, changing a Meta campaign or ad set budget, and editing a Shopify product's title, description, tags, or collection membership.
• Meta and Shopify changes always preview first — Claude shows you the proposed change and only applies it after you confirm. Price and inventory are not edited this way.
• Claude cannot see your Kluck conversation history, Memory and preferences (Soul), passwords, or Shopify/Meta credentials.

Product creative and credits

Claude can create a product creative — a product ad, social post, or product/marketplace photo — using a product already in your catalog with photos. Ask it to use a specific product if you have one in mind; otherwise it can look one up with list_products first.

• Generating a creative spends credits from this workspace's balance as soon as you ask for it; there is no separate confirm step like there is for Meta and Shopify changes.
• Moodboards, brand-only images, and other product-free formats are not available through Claude — they're rejected before any credits are checked.
• If the workspace doesn't have enough credits, Claude will tell you and link back to Billing in Kluck.

Shopify and Meta dependencies

• Store questions need Shopify connected and synced in Kluck; otherwise Claude reports that Shopify isn't connected or that data is still syncing.
• Ad questions need Meta connected with an ad account selected. If Meta is connected for reporting only, Claude can read ad performance but budget and pause/resume requests are blocked.
• Product creative needs a catalog product that already has photos — connect Shopify and let the catalog sync before asking for creative.

Revoke access

1. 1In Kluck, open Settings → Claude / ChatGPT.
2. 2Find the Claude session under Connected sessions and select Disconnect.
3. 3Also remove the Kluck connector from Claude's Settings → Connectors if you want to clean it up on that side.

Common setup problems

• "Only an owner or admin can connect this workspace" — ask someone with that role to complete the connection, or switch to an owner/admin account.
• "This connection request has expired" — the Allow step took too long; start again from Claude's connector settings.
• "This connection is read-only" when Claude tries to change something — reconnect and choose Allow images and account changes, or make the change directly in Kluck.
• Claude doesn't see Kluck in an existing chat — start a new chat after connecting.
• Claude reports a product creative is unavailable or rejected — supply a catalog product that has photos; moodboard and other brand-only formats aren't supported through the connector.
• A request times out — try a narrower question, or finish the task in Kluck directly.
