Troubleshoot Shopify and Meta connections

Resolve expired sessions, missing Meta accounts, revoked access, and incomplete connection setup.

Start with these checks

  1. 1Open Settings → Connectors and check whether the source is connected, pending, or failed.
  2. 2Confirm you are signed in to the correct Shopify or Meta account.
  3. 3Allow pop-ups for Kluck because authorization opens in a separate window.
  4. 4Reconnect the source and complete every selection step.
  5. 5If the source connects, wait briefly for connected context to refresh before judging whether data is missing.

Common Meta errors

  • Authorization cancelled: start again and complete the Meta consent flow.
  • Session expired or invalid state: close old authorization tabs and reconnect from Kluck.
  • No ad accounts found: verify the Meta user has access to an active ad account.
  • Account selection pending: return to Connectors and finish selecting an ad account or social profiles.
  • Token expired: choose Reconnect and authorize Meta again.

Common Shopify errors

  • Verification or token exchange failed: restart the connection from Kluck instead of reusing an old Shopify tab.
  • App may have been uninstalled: reinstall or reconnect from the Shopify connector.
  • Wrong store opened: disconnect it and reconnect using the permanent myshopify.com domain.

When to contact support

Contact support if a fresh authorization completes successfully but Kluck repeatedly fails to save the connection, or if the correct connected account still produces no data after reconnecting and waiting for a refresh.
